Margaritas Podridas

Margaritas Podridas

Margaritas Podridas is a Mexican Grunge/Shoegaze band formed by Carolina Enriquez, Rafael Armenta, Esli Meuly and Alfonso Lopez since 2016.
In 2021 the band released their second LP “Margaritas Podridas”, a self-titled album that would represent the comeback of the band to live performances after a year and a half.

L.A. Witch

L.A. Witch’s self-titled debut album unfurled like hazy memories of late night revelries in the city center creeping back in on a hungover Sunday morning. Guitarist/vocalist Sade Sanchez purred and crooned over jangling guitar chords, painting pictures of urban exploits, old American haunts, and private escapades with a master’s austerity. Bassist Irita Pai and drummer Ellie English polished the patina of the band’s vintage sound, adding a full-bodied thump and intoxicating swing to the album’s dusty ballads, ominous invitations, and sultry rock songs.

Baby Shakes - 02

Baby Shakes

Punk rockers Baby Shakes have been on a mission to revive the grime and gruel of the early New York punk scene since the beginning of their musical journey. With their determination and power-packed repertoire, they’re already heading in the right direction.

Vinyl Williams

Lionel is also known for his hyper-dimensional interactive & lo-fi video art videos created for his own fans, as well as other artists such as Tears For Fears, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Morgan Delt etc. Visit the Projects page for a full list of multimedia works.

Levitation Room

In Los Angeles, where the weight and pressure of the city’s fast paced culture can make your legs feel like pillars, emerges psychedelic quartet, Levitation Room, to break the bonds of gravity with their cosmic wall of sound and thought provoking lyrics. “Just as their name suggests, Levitation Room’s music instills the listeners ears with a light feeling of floating. The dreamy guitar and Lo-Fi projections of psychedelic rock and garage are reminiscent of a deep 1960’s era, but still grounded in an alternative dreamgaze flavor that permeates modern indie music today.” – OC Weekly. Their decidedly hallucinogenic songs whisper and hum the same gentle refrain of their summer of love influences, conjuring up the cognitive imagery of sunny days at the park, spent with friends in a euphoric haze along with lyrical and sonic meditations on life, love, society and self-awareness.

Kate Clover - 01

Kate Clover

Kate Clover is a songwriter and musician from Los Angeles, California. From the local lineage of bands like X, Germs, and The Gun Club, to the glamorous destitution of the downtown streets, Clover is inspired by the city that raised her, exploring the intricacies of self-discovery, self-creation, and self-preservation in the place where dreams are born to die. With the live-wire energy and crackling force of defiant fists raised in the air, Clover’s music is the rallying cry of a natural born killer. Leading an ace band of rangy, rowdy boys, Clover cuts an electric figure–a next-gen underground hero for the would-be believers.

Drawing comparisons to The Stooges, The Fall and The Cramps, SSDD bring an intense and wild live show. They are gearing up for their third European tour this summer and are busy at work on a follow up album to their self titled LP out now on Annibale Records.

Scott Yoder

Emerging from the wreckage of his childhood band The Pharmacy, Scott Yoder arrived
clad in a black cloak, stomping to the beat of his own sparkling tambourine. Over the course of two LPs he has toured the world, espousing a more personal distillation of his cathartically melancholic song craft. Nearly always on the road, he has honed his live act with a crunching, yet sensitive backing band of similarly-inclined misfits. The glitter- folk balladeer, adorned in mascara & bell bottoms invites you to sway to his entrancing charm as he releases a series of 6 singles in 2019.

Marbled Eye - 01

Marbled Eye

Since 2016, Oakland’s Marbled Eye has been crafting tightly wound post-punk over a couple of EPs, and the band just released its first full length, Leisure, The band’s sound includes a relentless two-guitar attack and a driving rhythm section that add up to some remarkably strong songs.

Wax Machine - 01

Big Mountain County

Big Mountain County is a four piece wild and dirty psych rock band, started in Rome in 2012. In just a few years the band has earned international acclaim for their European tours and participation in festivals: at Binic Folks Blues Festival (France) they were invited to perform two years in a row and at Rome Psych Fest, the press unanimously declared them “best live band 2016”.

Umut Adan - 01

Umut Adan

Having placed İhsani and Mahzuni, the legendary poets of Anatolia, in the centre of his music, fed both by Syd Barrett’s psychedelia and Captain Beefheart’s unique naughty attitude, being one of the heirs of Anatolian folk genre Umut Adan’s new hit “Eflatun Kardeşler”, represented by GRGDN Music, will be globally available on all digital platforms as of 9th April 2021.

Pearz - 02

Pearz

Hailing from Florence, an Italian hotbed of poetry and arts, Pearz is the musical moniker of multi-instrumentalist Francesco Perini. Having cut his teeth as a former member of The Hacienda and as session musician for the likes of Tess Parks and M!R!M, the London-based artist’s solo endeavours stem from “years of erratic and sleepless music nights”.
Following 2020’s Nocturnal EP, new single ‘Social Amnesia’ is a disillusioned dance track that draws from a melting-pot of influences. Nodding to Italian soundtracks, elements of nu jazz and nostalgic hip-hop beats, the largely instrumental composition glistens with enthusiasm and a love for making music. Layering synthesized strings atop of a groovy bass line, reminiscent of Liquid Liquid’s famously sampled banger ‘Cavern’, the infectious rhythm section wouldn’t sound out of place on Primal Scream’s seminal Screamadelica. Continually elevating across its 4-minute duration, gritty guitars add a satisfying sense of dirt to the well-produced piece before giving way to a disorientating piano outro.

Sloks

Sloks

Rawpower, super primitive garage punk, desperate no-wave, trashed out rock’n’roll combo, based in Turin/Italy. Tony Machete on drums, Ivy Claudy screaming and snare, Buddy Fuzz at strings. These guys run straight with hard and tense songs, a dirty sound and lo-fi noise excursions. Weird r’n’r made up of an abrasive and sick voice out of control. Delirious and strong.

al lover

Al Lover

Influenced as much by trip hop and psychedelic rock as by funk and world groove, he blends genres together seamlessly with an eclectic sonic palette. His distinctive re-edited, Dj sets focus on exploring deep, mid-tempo grooves, drenched in head-splitting, psychedelic effects. Musical styles and borders melt away as the listener is swept into an ethereal stew of body movement and mind expansion. Since 2012, Al Lover has been busy touring the world and releasing a slew of projects on multiple labels (Fuzz Club, Hoga Nord, Stolen Body Records, The Reverberation Appreciation Society, PNKSLM & Crash Symbols) as well as collaborating with artists such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, White Fence, Goat and Cairo Liberation Front. By the time they released their sophomore LP VALIS (Captured Tracks), the band had already achieved an extensive touring history supporting acts such as Foxygen, Of Montreal, Turnover, and STRFKR across the United States. Reptaliens’ high energy live performance includes a cast of actors dressed as aliens and psychedelic projections which has won fans over across the globe while showing no signs of slowing down.
With their third LP Multiverse (Captured Tracks) the band explores a different sound as they replace synthesizers with guitars in order to create a faster paced, more up-beat sound from their previous efforts. Drawing inspiration from 90’s shoegaze and grunge, Reptaliens worked with Mikaelin “Blue” Bluespruce (Mariah Carey, Solange, Blood Orange) to create their most polished release to date as the band continues its upward trajectory from lo-fi home recording project to household name.

Atalhos

Atalhos

Arriving like Brazil’s answer to The War On Drugs, Atalhos combines the reverb-rinsed touches of 80s’ Springsteen, the gentle grandiosity of Arcade Fire and the day-dreaminess guitar pop of Real Estate or Beach Fossils to create music as touching as it is timeless. And in 2022, the rising São Paulo band will release their new album: ‘A Tentação do Fracasso’.

UV-TV

UV-TV

The two songwriters were eventually joined by drummer Ryan Hopewell, and with Vastola on lead vocals and bass and Bernacett handling guitar duties and some vocals, they began working on material that incorporated the drive of hazy, C-86 punk, lo-fi recording techniques, and occasional moments when gears would shift from fervent bashing into shoegaze ambience.

Leatherette

Leatherette

Leatherette are born in Bologna, Italy, in 2018. The name was inspired by the iconic single ‘Warm Leatherette’, by The Normal. ‘Leatherette’ sounded like a mockery of rock music and the rockstar cult: ‘fake’ leather as a device for self-irony, something cheap, punk, disgraceful. Initially the band was a trio, formed by Michele Battaglioli (fka Dolan Tymas – guitarist and lead singer), Francesco Bonora (Baseball Gregg, Sleap-e – drums) and Marco Jespersen (bass). During the same year the first self-produced demo No Way was released. In 2019 the band expanded, with the arrival of Jacopo Finelli (sax, synths) and Andrea Gerardi (guitar)
